Paraíso Casa Turquesa Playa del Carmen

The apartment has a good location, a short drive to many restaurants and to shopping areas, 16-minute drive from Xcaret park. The apartment is very, very clean, I could tell because my kids like to run barefoot and we clean their feet before going to sleep, but they had almost no dirt at all at night. The owner left a 5 gallon water jug for us to drink. The bed and linen were very clean. They had soap for dishes and mop, broom, and dust pan for use. The fridge and bathrooms were very clean. The bedrooms each had a bathroom, and the rooms were spacious with a bit of cabinet space and hangers to use.

I give it 9 out of 10 because the home did not have soap or shampoo. The owner tried to convince me to use the hand soap he had in the bathrooms. I told him that that soap for hands antibacterial soap and not for hair or body. He did bring us soap and shampoo the next day. We got through only because we had a small shampoo and small soap. The internet on this property is a small little box that is SUPER SLOW. The connection is almost non-existent. Owner also came into apartment after we had already situated ourselves and I did not like that, I could tell because there was a strong smell from some toilet bars which the owner opened and hung them on the outside of each toilet. I did notify the owner that I did not like him coming in while we were gone. Still give it high ratings because of location, super cleanliness, and spacious property. The owner also did not notify security that we were coming to the property , so we were forced to wait for the owner to help us come in. His instructions on coming into the apartment were not given to us.

Ideal place for families. A lot of space. 2 terraces. Very helpful host. All rooms with air conditioners. Apartments have everything you need.

Great location close to store, markets and restaurants.

Beds were harder than we like, only double bed in Master, we would have liked some.more kitchen pans and such for cooking as we ate in mostly.

kitchen and AC in every room plus amenities on property.
