Besonders hilfreich war, das alles, woran man nicht unbedingt denkt, in der Unterkunft vorhanden war: Handtücher, Kaffeepulver, Kaffeefilter, Holzkohle. Das war sehr nett und die Eigentümerin hat auch geholfen, in der Nähe Schnorchelausrüstung auszuleihen.

Insgesamt hat die Korallenbleiche in Amami offenbar viel Meereswelt zerstört, so dass an vielen Stränden nur noch geringfügige Fischschwärme beim Schnorcheln zu beobachten sind. So war das auch am nahen Kuninao Beach, der aber wunderschön für einen Sonnenuntergang ist, sehr ruhiges Wasser hatte. Plastikmüll gibt es am Strand leider immer.

海からすぐ近くで、海と素敵な公園にすぐに行ける。 不思議と落ち着く家でした。 お風呂が綺麗でした。

We loved the place! The house is small, but it has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. It is just a couple of minutes walk from the village beach. The locals are very friendly and the surroundings are stunning! We would love to be back.

Everything! The house is beautiful, the village and the beach is amazing and Amami is heavenly. The house has everything you need and it’s very comfortable. Having the windows open at night to let in the fresh air and the sound of all the animals was great! We were surprised there wasn’t a single insect in the house, despite Amami’s tropical climate. The coral reefs are pretty far off shore at Kuninao beach, but we found that they were a bit closer at the southernmost end of the beach, near the cliffs. We were even visited by a sea turtle out there! The beach is at its best at sundown, but when it gets dark the hermit crabs become active, and it’s so much fun watching these little guys struggling with their oversized homes There’s a great lunch place nearby too, Bee lunch, with tasty food and friendly chicken :)
