Mednieku Namiņš

It was a lovely place to stay and in a beautiful setting - about 15 minutes drive to Sigulda. While we planned to walk the loop into town and take the gondola back, the weather was bad (rain/wind) so had to drive instead. The trail, however, is right beside the lodge.

Nothing - it was fantastic and 2 nights was too short.

Viss bija ideāli.Skaista vieta,māja ar vēsturi un ir pilnīgi visas ērtības iekšā.Bijam daudz kur,bet šī māja ir vislabākā no visām. Jauno gadu sagaidījām vislabākajā atmosfērā, kādu vien var iedomāties.

We had been eyeing this house for a while, and it was a beautiful place to spend a snowy Christmas. Perfect for a big family, with plenty of space and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The sauna was a real highlight, and the house offered great value for money. Communication with the host was smooth and helpful throughout. The peaceful, secluded location was exactly what we were looking for.

The property is quite isolated and really only accessible by car, which is something to keep in mind when planning your stay.

Amazing location, amenities were surperb, everything about our stay was beyond excellent. We even had snow which was amazing, the whole experience was brilliant.

Nothing. It was a perfect stay.

Everything! The hunting lodge is simply beautiful. It is tucked away in the middle of the forest like something out of a fairytale. The facilities are perfect. It's clean, always warm (you dont even need to warm up in the sauna as the underfloor heating is so effective!), and is nice blend of modern and rustic. There are some lovely walks in the area and it is only an hour's drive from Riga.
