Riad Le Marrakech Berrima

The host Kamar was absolutely lovely and helpful! Highly recommended for a true experience, great food, very clean and nice place to stay.

It's a beautiful Riad for a very good price. The roof terrace is amazing!!

There are cameras at the front door and on the roof terrace. I understand it's for safety but it does feel a bit intrusive.

Modern apartment - one of the best I've seen in Morocco. And spacious - you'll have the whole place to yourself. You'll sleep well - you can block out all natural light from the bed room and you won't hear noise from the street. Location is good - only a 10 minute walk from the medina. Some nice cafes and restaurants only 5 minutes away Kamar was friendly and even waited up until 23:00 to allow me to do late check in

There's not really a lounge area and the only sofa is not so comfortable. The cleaning fee is a bit high and it's not so nice that they charge you 3 euros per day for wifi

Kamer was very nice, our communication was just not easy, cause i dont speak french. so sometimes we had misunderstandings. but she was nice. finding in the beginning was half easy, but its ok, if you know the little streets. the house is really nice, just sometimes with the motos it can be a bit noisy. but it was ok.

Harassing, rude host. I received rude and false accusations every day of my stay, even after I left. All without any reason. Worst experience ever! I was in Marrakech for business. The host seemed to think I was a party teenager with Moroccan lover. I have no idea why he assumed this I'm 58, not 16! Day 2 I received a message about noise from my apartment. What noise?? The evening before I had been reading my book and was in bed by midnight. I was also accused of having male friends in the house. What an insult! One of my business partners came to peak inside the apt. for 30 seconds when he picked me up for a meeting. The host has cameras at the entrance door, so he knows this very well. Despite this Karama (the contact person) came the next evening to sleep there since I made so much noise!? And the list goes on.... On my final day Karama came at 10.50. I was ready to leave and asked her to verify that everything was ok in the apt. She didn't answer. I asked for the receipt of tax payment (which I had requested earlier as well). She went upstairs and didn't come back for 20 minutes. I waited downstairs assuming she was preparing the receipt. To my surprise she handed me the phone and the host in the other end .. brutally telling me to leave the house immediately, or pay for one more night. I was shocked beyond words! I left wo the receipt... Later he contacted Booking.com requesting payment for damaged goods wo specifying anything. I replied that those were false accusations and that the host is a disgrace to Booking.com. PS, if you are allergic to cats, this house is not for you. It is impossible to prevent cats from entering,as it's open from terrace and down. Needed to close door and window to my room at all times. Curiously the owner denied there is cat in the house, even if I told him I saw it inside several times. It likes to sleep on the sofa,and the soft rug, and it peeded in the kitchen .

The Riad was stunning in a great location. It was very clean and Kamar was such a great person and very helpful and she made me feel very welcome. She is a real asset! Thank you for everything, I enjoyed my stay and i hope to come again in future .
