Cortile Pace

Great location, it was very convenient. The host, Elisabetta, was a very warm and lovely lady, and the room was beautifully decorated. Our flight was delayed, and she waited until after midnight to open the gate. There's also a cute little balcony where you can dry clothes.

There's a slight odor in the bathroom.

I liked the accommodation because we were very close to the main action (the city center), and the balcony faced the atrium, so it was relatively quiet. The facilities/amenities of the accommodation were okay. And the owner was caring and attentive.

Elisabetta war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus war sehr sauber und lag in einem Innenhof bei einer netten und freundlichen Familie. Nur 5 Gehminuten vom Piazza del Duomo entfernt, kann ich es jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der das Leben unter den Einheimischen kennenlernen möchte.

Great location close to main Square, but in side street. Apartment had all the amenities needed for our stay. Recommend and come again! The owner even let is leave our luggage after check-out! Pro tip: to get to apartment you need to pass 2 flights of stairs: one to get to apartment and second, narrow and steep to get to apartment. Might be a problem with luggage bigger than small backpack. Like all old building there is no ventilation and heating. Strongly recommend to open the Windows for both. Take slippers, floor was dramaticqlly cold in January.

It is a lovely, cosy apartment with everything you need for a short stay. Located in the historic center but in a small quiet hidden alley. It was spotless clean upon arrival, the bed is very comfortable, I’ve slept better then at home. The host is available and very nice. I can fully recommend Cortile Pace as your Catania stay.
