Ota war ein super Gastgeber. Alles war sehr sauber und Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden sogar während unseres 1-wöchigen Aufenthalts ausgetauscht. Die Unterkunft war wirklich mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Lage am Wasser ist traumhaft

Staying at Ota‘s Pontoon is an absolute highlight and if I would take it as benchmark for other ratings, probably no other accommodation would get 5 stars. Ota is an excellent host. Communication was easy even before our stay, he shared helpful tips and ensured that we are enjoying our stay. Do not worry if you do not speak Japanese. All relevant information is available in English. The apartment is very nicely furnished and in the kitchen you find everything you need, from coffee machine to a pressure cooker. Another highlights are the large balcony and the private rooftop terrace. There js unobstructed view to the sea with Ishigaki on the left. There are several very good restaurants in walking distance as well as grocery stores. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure. Thanks for everything!

There is a good kitchen, and the view is great.

The beach out the front is no good for swimming, plus there was a lot of washed up rubbish from the ocean. Not appealing to go to the beach there. We didn't have a car, and the location is difficult by bus . There is excellent snorkelling, but a long way from this location. Shopping for food to cook in the kitchen was also hard as the shops are a long walk away, as the buses are not frequent at all.

Wonderful ocean front spot. Easy to find, not too far from the main town. Ota the host was very helpful. Plenty of space to relax and settle in.

The house is excellent with both facilities and views. It provides more than everything you will need for a really comfortable and chill holiday! I definitely would pick it if coming to Ishigaki again. And the owner Ota-san is also very warm and helpful. It was such a nice staying for us.

It would be perfect if it can have a baby chair.

If this accommodation is available for your schedule, DO NOT hesitate and book immediately. The BEST accommodation on Ishigaki Island. Kindly staff, and the accommodation space is very clean and private. The ocean view in the terrace is fantastic, and it's better than any cafe or restaurant in the island. And It's very convenient to get everything you need for travel, some of the equipment for leisure can be rent free of charge from this accommodation, so you don't have to pay money to buy or bring it. It was the best accommodation experience.
