Mooi appartement in prachtige omgeving

Jammer dat we bijna direct na binnenkomst een stevige reprimande kregen van de eigenaresse omdat we de koeien aaiden. Dat had ze ook anders kunnen doen en ons bij aankomst even te verwelkomen en kort alle regels uitleggen. Auto moest ook verderop gezet terwijl andere auto’s wel voor ons terras stonden, ook dat ging nogal dwingend. Gewoon niet gastvrij helaas… En in badkamer zaten de spinnenwebben. Neem zelf handdoeken mee want zijn heel klein en te weinig voor 4 dagen.

A really comfortable well appointed accommodation that was spotlessly clean and had everything we wanted.

The lack of a local cafe or restaurant was the only thing but not an issue.

Great service and facilities. Lovely living. Great for kids but also for adults. Close to lots of activities.

Beautifully converted Farm building on a working dairy farm. Accommodation finished to a very high standard. With probably the most comfortable sofa that we have had in any holiday property. Comfortable beds. 3 x very nice wet room style bathrooms. The very helpful lady farmer lent my wife her own personal hair dryer. It was great to walk past the cow barns everyday (on the way to the car parking area) full of 100s of some of the most calm & contented cows & calves that I have ever seen. It was interesting to see the hard working farmers work from early to late around the farm with large & impressive machinery. For hygiene reasons you MUST NOT touch or pet the animals. There is a small viewing area for the amazing automated milking machines. The important thing to bear in mind is that the super accommodation is ON a working farm, with the flies, smells & noises that one would expect ON a farm. This was NOT a problem at all for us. We had a great stay.
