"An interesting place that needs a tidy up."

The house matches both the photos and the description. The master bedroom is large, the beds are comfortable, and the bed linen is clean. The bathroom works well. We had the whole house to ourselves. We were in touch with the owner a couple of times, and he was very friendly and accommodating.

What the pictures don't show is the mess you see even before you lock yourself in. The bathroom, kitchen and back bedroom are a mess. The windows throughout the house need cleaning. The only panoramic view is from the small room on the first floor, where there are two armchairs. Large trees bang against the house when it is windy, causing noise, especially in the master bedroom.

Wat een locatie! Wat een karakter! Misschien wel t beste vakantiehuis ooit. Schitterend authentiek ingericht en tegelijkertijd overcompleet. De panoramakamer is fantastisch. Bedden heerlijk. Uitzicht onvergetelijk. Hugo is een geweldige gastheer. We huilden bijna toen we weg gingen.

Nou ja, als er toch iets was: de wifi was wat instabiel. Maar ja, heb je dat nodig met zo’n uitzicht?

The house is fantastic... amazing view on seaside. It may feel a bit "crowded" to some people but I spent hours looking at stuff that reminded my grandparents!
