Villa Holmen 2

We loved the location of this property. It was absolutely perfect. It was so easy to get to the waterfront, to all the restaurants, to the beach, etc. I would highly recommend staying in this place again. Looking out the large picture window at the mountain was Just awesome.

The only small Hitch in the whole experience was getting into the property. We went to the wrong door at first, because it was not super clear which door to go to. We even encountered other travelers who were going to the other part of the property, and they were confused too. I believe they were both named the exact same thing. I would suggest naming the two different parts of the property something completely different so there's no confusion. otherwise we had A great time.

The location was excellent. Having a washer and dryer was a game changer.

Great location, beautiful home, phenomenal view from the living room, full kitchen, clean and tidy.

There might have been some issue with the pipes in the toilet so there was a strong sewage smell in there.

This hotel was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was really nice and it had all the appliances we needed.

The TV was kind of small

I don’t normally leave reviews, but we absolutely loved our stay so we had to! The place is in perfect location, has one of the most amazing views I’ve seen and is very spacious. The owner was very quick to reply, and very accommodating. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated so the current photos don’t do it justice! We were very warm and comfortable and it was nice to catch up on some washing. Highly recommend staying here!

We didn't stay due to the substandard nature of the accommodations. We left after ten minutes. This is the first time we have ever felt the need to leave a place we'd booked.

This place was smelly, cold, shabby, and tacky. We did not stay here. We cannot imagine why anyone would want to. We immediately booked a hotel room because Holmen 2 was awful. The owner offered to contact Booking.com about a refund, which she did, apparently. But the company strung us out for two months, finally saying that the owner did not tell them in writing that our money should be refunded. We never did get a refund. Booking.com was unresponsive during the two months, not answering my polite emails and texts, and not contacting me although the representative told me that the company would get back to me. We did get a small discount before we even arrived at Holemn 2 because the wi-fi would not be working during our stay. Be sure that you are renting the place you think you are--that is, NOT the handsome two-story yellow house, but an anonymous 70s house with no view, no comfort, no warmth, and no air of cleanliness.
