"loved it! wish we could have stayed longer"

Fergus hideaway was just a beautiful place. They had the most comfortable bed I slept in while in New Zealand. the house just had everything and was close to town. there was an additional living area upstairs that just looked so comfortable. however there were only 3 of us so didn’t use it. if it wasn’t raining we would have like to use the bicycles that were available (with helmets).

"Cosy stay in a beautiful house, well worth every dollar"

9.0

Very cosy place, that is well stocked with everything we could need. Many places to lounge, chill, and dine together (indoor and outdoor). Thoughtful fringe items like bicycles and helmets add on to the range of activities that a family can do in Te Anau. High end fittings and furnishings are used in the home.

The walls were a little thin, so if you’ve got loud talkers and light sleepers, there may be a slight problem. Another very minor issue is that the two television sets were rather difficult to navigate (one could only be turned on and off), and we could not get sound on the other one. This was despite us reading the different instruction manuals. Perhaps we didn’t fully understand.
