Well designed and appointed, comfortable space for two couples, lots of natural lighting. Convenient location for day trips and exploring in Havelock. Access to the kayaks a plus!

What a fantastic property. I stay in a lot of these types of places and this could be the best one ever. The house is really well designed and thoughtfully kitted out with everything we needed for our stay. The bed is super comfy, there is plenty of storage and plenty of floor space. It was super clean and beautifully presented. The view is to die for - absolutely stunning and ever changing. It is a short walk into town where we enjoyed the local pub, cafes and shops. We had a visit from a very friendly cat which for me is always a bonus.

There is a bit of road noise at night. Not enough to wake me up, but if I was awake I could definitely hear larger trucks.

Beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable home in an amazing location with stunning water and mountain views. Great hosts who were very east to communicate with. Would loved to have stayed longer, maybe next time.

Just a short stroll outside of Havelok with its walkable downtown, and proximity to nearby attractions, The Bora Castle was a nice place to unwind after fun filled days. The location is very good with sweeping panoramic views of the jungle mountain peaks countryside including the blue bays of the Sound and anchored boats nearby. We enjoyed the scene while sipping wine on the ample deck of the studio or through floor to ceiling windows. It was a very comfortable stay with every modern convenience. The kitchen is expansive and fully functional, exceeding the usual "kitchenette" offered at other places. The hosts were welcoming, kind, and great sources of local knowledge. We can recommend without reservation. A perfect and auspicious start to our South Island adventure!

Very stylish apartment - great view from picture window. Well equiped, very comfortable. Great location for Havelock & access to marina. Friendly host.
