Great location, great facilities. Love the hige open plan lounge/dining/kitchen - perfect place for our 3 families to hang out. All round perfect for what we needed for IM weekend

Frying pans need an upgrade. There were a lot of spiderwebs around the house

Great place for a group of 12 ! It was spacious, beautiful and away from the city sounds. We loved it ! Everything needed was available, as if we were at our own homes. Thank you !

Good location and decent beds

Dishes were dirty (plates) The shower door was detached from its runners (I put it back together) Toilet roll holder was poorly attached to the grout and look like it was about to fall off There were no rubbish bags as stated in the pack up instructions

The location was great for us.

When we arrived, it was dark and there we're no lights outside, we had to use our phones to see in the dark. There were 2 or 3 lamps, but none of the switches worked on those lamps. The powerpoints on the ground floor we're exposed, especially in the bathroom, which is dangerous as we had kids with us. The ground floor bathroom had so much condensation that the bathroom was soaking wet for our entire stay. There we're no spare bathroom floor mats. We couldn't tell if the shower box was leaking. One of the electric blankets didn't work, and there were no extra blankets. There should have been extra blankets, especially in Taupo. The door handle on the ground floor room was broken and kept falling off. This is the room with the bunk bed, and luckily, my neice didn't get locked in by herself, and my sister was there to help. We had a power cut on Saturday night, which is pretty bad. We had to come back to the bach and reset it as my mum was still at the bach. We we're using the wall heaters and the washing machine and dryer, and since all the facilities we're available, these shouldn't have tripped the meter. That night, some of us didn't use our electric blankets just in case the power overloaded again. The sink was so dirty in the downstairs room that we had to run the water as it looked like there was spit in the sink. The upstairs kitchen bench top was so black, we only realized after we had already used it the first day. The pans we're too old to use. Toaster handle was broken. The dishwasher button was stuck. Cupboards hadn't been wiped down, and we could clearly see the stains. The upstairs rooms and bathroom we're clean and tidy. I don’t think this place was worth the amount we paid, and downstairs requires a lot of maintenance. A heat pump should also be installed after the power overload issue is solved. Everyone was very disappointed with this bach. Thank you

Not too far away from town center / Can hold large families gatherings

Was comfortable very spacious

We found stairwell tricky and narrow/steep as not as flexible in latter years 70 plus ,the living area took long time to heat up as the heat pump filters had not been cleaned for a long time ( photos available ) for size of living area could have had bigger TV screen with possible sky added as extra bonus
