Te Kohanga, Oneroa

It was a fab location and a really cute place, all the facilities that you could need and super comfortable.

The top large stairs were quite hard to navigate for my mother, luckily she loved the place so much she didnt leave :-) The TV remote didnt work, it would turn on but couldnt do anything else with it and was so loud it was impossible to even watch the Chanel that came on. The door handle on the 2nd ensuite came off, wasnt a major just a note. I messaged the number provided about the TV remote and handle but had no response.

Perfectly comfortable for our family group. Great location to Oneroa (walking with kids). Beautiful island and thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing at the house. The outside shower was a hit with the kids. Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous view, lovely decor that felt very warm and homey. Super well set up with everything you need (e.g has both an iron and a steamer) and a very well equipped kitchen. Location is awesome, just a 5 min drive to the Oneroa esplanade. My toddler had a ball here - there was a whole basket filled with Lego, books and some other toys that he loved. Be mindful that there is an internal staircase which would be a worry if you do have little ones that aren’t confident on stairs yet.

There was a gigantic external staircase that takes you down to the property. We had quite rainy weather and the stairs became super slippery, and we were worried about falling. Wasn’t the end of the world for us but wouldn’t be ideal for someone with mobility issues.

Great view. Comfortable beds. Bottle of wine was a nice gesture.

It wasn't made clear that the property was only accessible by stairs.There was a photo but it definitely wasn't explicit. We parked on the side of the narrow road which was a bit challenging and scary in our ute.(No barriers) We had to clean dishes, glasses and cutlery before using them. Couches were stained, fridge smeared with something. Light covers and door handles fell off. One of the bathroom doors didn't close properly.

Almost everything, it was well appointed, cosy and we were so comfortable. Close to Oneroa town and beaches, and the beaches are great. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house with great views

Bright pleasant decor, beautiful views, comfortable beds and furniture, well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, professional management, fabulous windows.

Nothing. We loved the property!

The location is beautiful. Sitting on the deck watching the tuis and Kereru in the trees was amazing. It’s close to the beach and shops although a very steep up hill walk back. The house is very lovely and they had everything there you needed. I was worried about mosquitoes but we didn’t get bitten once and have way more in Tauranga then there.

The bunk beds were very uncomfortable, the wifi wasn’t any good it kept cutting out. The cutlery in the draws were all dirty so we had to wash them and the dial on the oven is hard to turn.
