THI love the location. It is located in a local residential area, which has a nice supermarket nearby. The walk to the train station is not far. A bus station to Kyoto station is also just around the corner.
Although the neighborhood is nice and quiet, the neighbors can be very unfriendly. We took a car from a rental service to collect our luggage and a wheelchair of one of our members when we checked out. There were many cars parked on the street and we halted only for a few minutes. A few neighbors came out to tell us that parking is not allowed. Since the street is dead-end, there was almost no traffic. We told them we were leaving, but they were still very unhappy and kept their eyes on us until we left.
