The Apple Tree Cottage was a beautiful, comfy place. The interior is appointed with many unique and special items throughout. The garden is lovely with pieces of art and birdhouses. I can only imagine how lovely it must be in full bloom!

Apple Tree Cottage is idyllic. A period property, loving restored in a beautiful courtyard garden. The property has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. It’s a peaceful spot, with a canal to the front and, just a short walk into the centre, where you can find all the fabulous things Gouda has to offer. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to help with the loan of a child’s bike for our daughter to use. There if you need them, but not intrusive.

There was nothing we disliked!

Everything was wonderful. Jos & Marleen are excellent hosts and the cottage is in a gorgeous setting and a great location in Gouda! It is fitted with everything you'll need and more, especially if you plan to cook for yourselves. Definitely look no further for a cozy and relaxing stay in historic Gouda!

This is a lovely little cottage in a peaceful garden yet close to the centre of Gouda. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts Jos and Marlene are very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful time there and would definitely recommend.

There was nothing at all to complain about
