Fantastic definitely recommend the place for those who enjoy nature and get a sense of traditional Holland.

location is great and its in the middle of nature with brids, house animals around.

Special holidays in an old Mill house in a beautiful village at a canel. The house is cozy and has enough Equipment for a few days stay. We spended 4 nights there. Our children were very happy with the big garden and animals, especially they loved the friendly cat :) Perfect location for a bike trip to Kinderdijk with a really beautiful nature with lots of wild animals. 30 min to Rotterdam and less than 1 hour to the beach Scheveningen/Den Haag by car. We didn't see the hosts but they answered back quickly to my messages on booking.com app. Check-in and check-out were no problem.

At the rainy weather it was quite cold in the house. The fireplace in the living room worked well but in the bedrooms upstairs it was still cold. The bathroom is also old, some of the towels too, and the hand basin has no warm water. But it was OK for a short stay.

Very interesting location, certainly out in the country, kitchen and lounge area very nice with everything one needs, was pleasantly warm and comfortable.

I am not certain I understood the bed arrangements when I booked, the top of the landing "open" room made it interesting but I guess an old building is always going to present some challenges and all that.
