De Boerenskuur..chalet..

Location is in Outskirts and In the middle of Fields . I chose it preferable as I have a Kid and wanted to stay in Farm Area. There were small Animals like Goat, Rabbit etc. Owner allowed my daughter to play with them as they were not so Harmful for kids. There is complete peace around. No Hustle Bustle of City life.

Tap in the Wash basin in the Toilet was not so comfortable. Hot and cold Water Taps are different and not friendly to use. Mosquitos are there , but owner had provided Mosuito killing Rackets which helped.

Beautiful location; both quiet but also super nice for my 4 year old daughter. We enjoyed feeding and petting the farm animals. Very nice view and gorgeous sunset

Location was amazing. My family really enjoyed with hens and goats over there :-)

It is very cold in the chalet. They have the heaters but still a little bit cold.

The place is amazing, a little farm enviroment with plenty of space to the kids. We could paly with the dog (Daysi) that was wonderful. the mobile home is very confortable. The reception by the owner was very warm and helpful.

The water temperature on the shower was not so stable, otherwise the the stay was perfect.

It’s a secluded Chalet, tidy and clean.

The property was cold when I arrived. The heater was on, but hadn’t been for long. You’re told that the heater works- but it’s not remotely adequate to heat the entire Chalet. No heater in the bathroom or bedrooms. I found a fan heater in one of the cupboards but it made little difference. I mention all this because there is a fully-functioning gas heater in the lounge. but it’s turned off at the supply.

The host was thorough with his explanation of the property and the available facilities. We felt comfortable after his briefing and were in the end satisfied with our stay. The cabin we stayed was small but neat and tidy; the ceiling is not that high so 196+cm people would struggle a bit to move around. We used the kitchen for making tea and everything worked fine. Comfy sofas in the living room. Aarc was very amicable and we had a nice chat with him about life in Amsterdam/Assendelft. He spoke decent English and was quite empathetic with his hosting service; thoroughly enjoyed his company! The surrounding green fields and little farm of his adds further value to the place.

We had an issue reaching the host through booking.com. I had left a note after booking that we prefer a late check-in but I didn't hear anything despite another attempt one week prior to our scheduled check-in to reach the host. So we were a little stressed as we were not sure if the host would let us check-in late. But I established contact with him through the number provided on WhatsApp and he ultimately let us the latest check-in time. The whole communication process could be better designed by booking.com so that reaching the host is easier. It is not always easy to call the number especially if you are not in the same country. Also one should keep in mind that you can only reach the place if you have car/taxi.

- Host is very nice. - For those who drives own car, the position is great. 10km to the beach or shop of selling fresh sea food. 20km to the P+R Sloterdijk. - There is kitchen, that we could cook the sea foods ourselves - For children it is simply heaven (with big fields, animals and plenty of toy trucks) - Landscape is perfect

We sleep in the caravan: - It is very wet, everywhere… - In one night it rained a lot, and very strongly for almost the whole night, the noise of the rain could not be isolated at all - Too many mosquitoes…
