Oceanfront Cabin in Lofoten with Panoramic View

lovely cabin with stunning views and a lot of charm! great management too and very receptive if you need anything.

it was all perfect

- Good location for aurora hunting - Overall hygiene and cleanliness is good - Close to Leknes airport (15-20mins drive), central location to Reine and Svolaer - Good view and quiet place - Car park next to the accomadation - Clear information provided before arrival (e.g. keybox, address)

- A bit trouble to get to the accomdation during bad weather - Need to make the bed before sleep (bed linen provided) - Both washroom on the ground floor - Hot water supoly for shower is limited, especially large group - Platetopp could be overheat, and need to reset at the switchboard

Wow! What a beautiful location! We arrived to the property to find it warm and ready for our stay. While getting settled, the host even sent us an alert to look for the Aurora…which we saw two of our four nights…right from the back porch! The fire was cozy and played into the ambience, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen spacious and the house very clean. We spent many nights around the table playing games and enjoying the home.

The kitchen could use an update on the plates/bowls/cups…but certainly not a deal breaker. We didn’t enjoy having to make up the beds ourselves upon arrival, the basic sheets in a box near the door. The hot water heater was just large enough for 2 (maybe 3) hot showers (which wasn’t a problem for us to space out!), but something to think about with large groups. The largest issue we had was that the host stopped communicating with us the day after check-in. We had an issue with the stove top and had to turn off the stove at the breaker to ensure it didn’t become a safety hazard. It did not end up being a major issue, but it would have been nice had the owner addressed any of the 3 messages sent about it.
