100 Years Old Norwegian Log House in Tromsø

It’s a beautiful cabin just outside of Tromsø. The cabin carries the family history of its owners and is lovingly and thoughtfully decorated throughout. The living area with the kitchen and fireplace is very spacious, as is the bathroom. The sleeping area is located in the loft and can be reached via a somewhat steep staircase. For safety reasons—especially at night when heading to the bathroom—a handrail on one side of the stairs would certainly be helpful. 🙂 Otherwise, the cabin is beautifully situated. In the morning, we were even able to watch moose right from the window. With good conditions, you can see the Northern Lights directly from the doorstep. A big thank you as well to Sylvi and Asbjørn — two incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who shared many valuable tips with us. We will definitely be back 🇳🇴🙌🏻

Uroczy, zabytkowy domek. Znajduje się w nim wiele rodzinnych pamiątek właścicielki, bardzo klimatycznie, można poczuć się jak w dawnej Norwegii. Właścicielka zaangażowana i pomocna. Teren domku bardzo różnorodny i ciekawy. Można spotkać tam łosie (są ślady) - nam niestety się nie udało. Wygodny parking, podstawowe przyprawy znajdują się w kuchni, więc można śmiało przygotować ulubione potrawy. Na pewno warto byłoby jeszcze zajrzeć tutaj latem:) Polecamy!

Schody na górę są nieco strome. Na górze było troszkę chłodno, ale jak udało się zasnąć to spało się idealnie:)

Nous avons passé 2 soirées de rêve dans cette maison et nous aurions aimer rester plus longtemps tellement on s'y sentait bien. Mention spéciale pour les aurores boréales vues dans le jardin ainsi que les élans qui sont passés juste devant la porte.

Super cozy place with all you need to have a beautiful stay! Good place to be a little bit outside the city!

schön gelegen auf Kvaløya an der Hauptstraße innerhalb eines Ensembles aus einigen kleineren Hütten. mit Blick auf Wasser und Berge. Authentisches Haus mit alten Möbeln. Geräumiges Bad und gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Parkplatz. Netter Empfang mit Einweisung.

Der Schlaf- und Wohnbereich oben erstreckte sich über die gesamte Etage ohne Abtrennung der Bereiche. Extrem steile Treppe dorthin, die weder für kleine Kinder noch ältere Gäste geeignet ist. Ein Doppelbett und zwei Matratzen vervollständigen den Schlafbereich, so dass unser Sohn 28 in der Küche campieren musste und unsere Tochter 25 glücklicherweise eine Ausweichmöglichkeit hatte. Die Angaben in booking sind somit etwas irreführend, da dort zwei Schlafcouches und zwei Wohnzimmer erwähnt werden.
