"We had a great time here!"

We really enjoyed our time here! The house is situated in a quiet area, overlooking the lake - nevertheless there is a bus station and a supermarket in only 3 minutes walking distance. The house has a lot of history, we would have loved to read the history also in English, but we understood some aspects from the pictures and with Google Translate. The kitchen is so well equipped! We cooked every meal of our 10 day stay in this kitchen. Hege put on the warm blankets for us, which was very kind. We had a great time in Vingnes!

This might sound funny ;) As people "from the city" it was our first time to light a chimney with wood. When we arrived it took us some time with YouTube videos to get the chimney properly working. Later we found the official manual of the chimney in a drawer. It would be helpful for people like us to have something like a 1pager with best practices on how to use the chimney (in addition to all the detailed and helpful information in the folder).
