Paihia Place Cottage - central Paihia

I couldn't fault anything. All went very smoothly and Host was extremely helpful. In a great location being in walking distance to town and facilities. Such a charming little cottage, even had my name on the outside to welcome us.

A rustique and charming cottage in walking distance to the main shopping area. Very clean and fully equipped kitchen.

The cottage is warm and cozy. Perfect for vacation.

Great location, great setup, easy parking, easy access and all round enjoyable.

Colder nights so had to crank the heat pump up. Once it warmed up not a problem. Understandable as it is an older style building with perhaps not a lot of insulation. Can’t really say we didn’t like it. Just had to get used to cranking up the aircon and made it very cosy.

Everything. This cottage had litteraly everything u need. Space was used brilliantly. Attention to detail like the little flowers in a pot was exeptional. Definately the best place we ever stayed that was booked through Bookings. The owner Corinne & her partner are just so welcoming & friendly & helpful.

There is really nothing that we did not like or enjoyed.

Clean and tidy Cottage, everything I would need inside, easy to get around in. Location close to town and places I wanted to go to while here. Quiet and private location. Excellent, welcoming hosts, be available if needed and allow my privacy. Wonderful stay, would highly recommend it to family and friends...

There was absolutely nothing I did not like with my stay!!!

We loved the size of the cottage and felt we had enough room to move about It was very warm and felt homely Beautiful heatpump, kept us toasty The kitchen was a great touch - was able to cook proper meals during our stay Our beds were very comfortable and made sleeping a breeze great outdoor area with plenty of space including on site parking outdoor solar lights were a great touch when returning back in the dark the shower was spacious with great water pressure Decent kitchenware available The couch was also very comfortable we imagine this place is even more enjoyable during the summer as the breeze atop the hill was great!

it wasn't so much a didn't like but we did find the hand basin slightly too small. Was difficult to wash hands and brush teeth on an angle without wetting the floor. We didn't want to make a mess of the sink top / floor area. The driveway is very steep. From the photos we didnt realise how steep it was until we arrived. We had hoped we could walk into the township as it is just a stone throw away but because we had our nan we ended up taxiing her up and down 😊 (parking our vehicle at the bottom while we were out) This wasn't a major issue for us but it is important to be mindful of. If you have great knees and are comfortable with walking up and down a steep slope, the driveway is a non issue 😊😊

The cute little self-contained cottage was so clean, quiet and comfortable, so pretty with the fairy lights out on the front. Great location, short 5 minutes walk to the restaurants, cafes & the wharf to catch the bus on the Cape Reinga tour. Nice touch with my name by the door and flowers in the kitchen. So lovely of the host to hose down our car which was covered in leaves as it was parked under a tree. Thank you.

Hand basin was a wee bit small

It was a very handy spot to walk into town. Very quiet and comfortable.
