House was stocked with games and activities, fire was ready to light and everything was neat and tidy.

Would be good to be able to shut the front door from the outside. Only a minor issue. Didn't like lockng ourselves outside after dark, but Grant was great from afar, getting a spare key to us. Definately not a fault of the host, user error!

We really enjoyed staying in a home environment. It is located on the edge of town but Reefton is very small and the many different routes we took when walking into town were all interesting. We had good weather and spent most of our time exploring bush walks, especially the longer Murray Creek loop track. There are lots of board games plus DVDs. We particularly enjoyed sampling the CD collection. We didn't use the log burner but it was set ready to light and there is plenty of wood. Didn't try out the bikes available either.

This is not a luxury stay, just a simple home. That suited us fine. A little expensive for just the two of us. It would be great value for a group.

Fantastic place. Hosts amazing and very easy to deal with. The beds are very comfortable. Fantastic place for a large group. Pig puzzel kept us all going all weekend!!

Sympathetically modernised but with a classic kiwi bach feel. There were only two of us but it could accommodate several more comfortably. A wee way from main street but an easy pleasant walk through the back steets to get there. Met a friendly cat, saw giant pumpkins, some funky gardens and a nashi pear tree! An even shorter drive. Hosts don't live locally but we're attentive anyway.

We liked everything.

Very nice house. Nice yard. Lots of music , dvs and games available. 2 lounges. Nice quiet area with short drive to town. Highly recommend.
