Gladstone Cottage

Town was busy with a rowing regatta that weekend, but at the cottage it was very quiet and peaceful.

Everything, beautiful home from home in a great location with views of Mount Cook. Well equipped, comfortable accommodation with the nicest genuine hosts we've met in Margaret & Pete. Went out of their way to welcome us even giving us homemade cake 🥰

Gladstone was in a nice quiet location away from main roads. The house was well equiped, spacious and warm and the area was great for star gazing- finally struck dark, clear night skies after a couple weeks travelling

Very friendly host. Spacious accommodation with everything you need.

Lovely location just a few minutes from central Twizel. Clean and comfortable with everything you could need. A full kitchen and washing machine. Comfortable sofa and relaxing chairs in lounge and bed really comfy.

It’s an observation only really in that the property is up for sale but does need some things updating which I can appreciate you wouldn’t do if you’re not going to be there for long. The fridge is yellowing, the washer is a top loader but all clean and perfectly useable.

Margaret was a very nice host and it was a lovely quiet property.

Shower pressure a bit low but still very usable.

As good as you get accommodation spotlessly clean in a great location will all amenities you could wish for managed by a friendly professional family
