A lovely little cottage is a quiet area of town. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. It had everything we needed for our one night stay. Would definately recommend

Location suited us. Quiet apart for farmer working next door but that didn't worry us. To be expected out in the country. Appreciated being able to bring bikes inside.

"A comfortable, quiet (mostly), rural setting."

A gorgeous cottage set behind a massive stone gate on acreage, on the outer edge of Twizel township. The cottage was actually quite large, with very comfortable furnishings. The hot water system definitely needed explanation, but worked just fine! In the morning, it was bright and peaceful enough just to stroll the property in the quiet. Very relaxing!

The nearby neighbours decided that the afternoon of our stay was also their time to fell and cut up some of their pine trees, creating an amount of intrusive chainsaw noise. But this was fairly short-lived, and quiet soon resumed.
