Shepherd's View - Lake Tekapo

Very nice house in Tekapo. Good location. This house has a small garden with a lovely swing frame. You can see stars there in the evening. Bright and spacious.

It would be perfect If there was hair conditioner .

the swing is quite fun. view is ok. love the location. close proximity to town centre. there s a walkway that cuts through. first night the sensor light kept on getting turned on we were a bit scared coz it was so quiet outside. then we realise it was the hares.

House is spacious, clean, and modern, just like pictures shown. AC is really up-to-date. AC circulates in every room, which is good during summer. Kitchenware is abundant and useful. Staff was friendly and humorous. Easy parking.

Very comfortable as my home. All facilities are working well and great. Shower power is strong, heater is is to control. It is very quiet and peaceful. Great location for lake Tekapo view Ana observing stars at balcony. Walling distance to the market and lake. I will stay here again if I have a chance to visit Lake Tekapo next time.

A well maintained property in an amazing location within walking distance to the main areas of Lake Tekapo. Staff at Discover Tekapo were helpful and friendly. Would recommend this property to anyone!

⭐️ Location: 10 out of 10! Wonderful scenery and super convenient! During the day, we can see the lake and the mountains from the balcony; at night, we can see a sky full of stars and the Milky Way without much light pollution; in addition, it is close to the intercity bus stop, the supermarket, Lake Tekapo Petting Zoo, Petronella’s Gallery and Bookstore, Discover Tekapo Accommodation Office, restaurants, and of course, Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd. ⭐️The windows and the brightness of the house: 100 out of 10!! The house was so bright and breezy when the windows are opened during daytime that we didn’t need to turn on any light and air conditioning at all. ⭐️The air conditioner: 10 out of 10! The air conditioning system functioned perfectly well, it can reach the perfect temperature in a short period of time, giving the house warmth on freezing cold nights, and cool air on super hot and sunny days. ⭐️The number of bedrooms: Each of my family members get to have their own room, which is awesome! ⭐️The price: Reasonable! Thank you so much! 🥰

🔸Some of the facilities didn’t work very well, such as most of the buttons on the microwave, and two of the burners of the stove. In addition, the door of the shared toilet was missing a lock. 🔸Some of the items in the property were not very clean, such as the dish drying rack, the sponges in the kitchen, and one of the blankets in the bedroom with bunk beds.
