Acacia Waters - Lake Taupo

The house was excellent and well equipped. The spa was lovely each afternoon. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The size of the house was great for our group of 16. The gas heater kept the living areas toasty warm. The host was very cooperative when one of us had to go back the next day to collect something left behind, which we appreciated.

There were a couple of issues to start, but Dion fixed them quickly, eg, 4 wine glasses for 16 people. However, the spa pool was dirty, which was a shame as people wanted to use it. One window lock came off because it only had one screw in it, which we fixed ourselves. The side barrier of one of the top bunks is also very dodgy and needs fixing. One of the bar stools was coming apart, again fixed by us. There were no spare kitchen rubbish bags, and there was rubbish in the garage from a previous guest that was smelly. Improvements to housekeeping would make staying there nicer.

Door code, although a very long door code and failed to enter it multiple times for some odd reason. a 4 digit door code would be much better. The property itself was great.

I did not appreciate being rung up at 9a.m. on the day of departure and being asked to leave by 9:00 when the checkout was clearly marked as 10:00 a.m. Also the pool in the description didn't exist.

With that amount of people it would have been nice to have another bathroom or at least another toilet downstairs, might be a good idea to modify garage to include this

We were absolutely blown away when we arrived, it looked so much better in person, the house was lovely and warm and had everything we needed and there was heaps of space to relax. It was good having the three bathrooms. Honestly we felt like we were staying in a mansion.

I felt like the house wasn't very kid friendly with the stairs and just too many things for them to touch hence the breaking of one of the ornaments

Plenty of social space. Lovely spa. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Great clean bathrooms enough for large group. Well resourced kitchen and TV for movies and sport.

The extractor over the stove was greasy, and also we had to find the buttons to operate it under the filter. The gas bottle in barbeque wasn't full and ran out midway through cooking a birthday dinner, which was a disappointment.

Locatio, space, privacy, alot of room.

House was clean, warm and well kept. Spa with a view was awesome. Everything was excellent!
