"Family Holiday"

Nicely refurbished cottage in great location close to shops and beach

One of the bedrooms was in a sleep-out which was not made clear on the website, only notified after the booking was confirmed. This caused problems with our children who were too young to sleep out on their own. The bathroom basin tap was non functional, in fact fell apart and needs repair. There were ants in the kitchen pantry. The living room was very small, not large enough for the 8 guests to relax in. In total I received 36 emails from Stay Waiheke regarding my booking which I found unnecessarily intrusive.

"Could be good for a family with kids . Not suitable for a group of women."

Location okay. Not suitable for 6 adult women not bed sharing . The sleepout is small with low ceiling and top mattress extremely hard and uncomfortable . There is no toilet in the sleepout . The other room with twin beds is small as well . The 2 double rooms were great , good size and comfortable beds.

Such a gorgeous step back in time but also fully modernised! We LOVED our stay and are defiantly coming back. We had everything we needed and the location is superb!!!

Great location, ideal for our little dog. You are able to sit out the front and the back plenty of seating to suit whatever the weather
