Great stay in the bay at Sandcastles on Tay. The Whanau loved the character of the home, the cleanliness, and the facilities provided. The tamariki made use of the beach play gear, I hope they were allowed to do that. We indulged in the ripe avocados and lemons on the trees in the backyard. We were close to all amenities and shops and blessed with the hospitality of all the people in the shade of Maunga Mauao. Also, we had the sunniest 4 days we've seen all year (we from Auckland). We will definitely rebook this in the future.

"ok but property quite tired … and not on a par with a airbnb we had last time in Mt Maunganui…"

position for cricket/beach great

difficult getting in property and managing agents difficult to reach .. very unhelpful when we wanted to leave cases for a late flight ….even though they knew no one was coming in straight away…. much prefer dealing with an owner as on Airbnb ….
