Fjellro Mountain Cabin

Guests could be attended that there are three roads with somewhat similar names (our taxi driver choose the wrong (lowest) one. Also, the key code system was somewhat hidden in the door opener. A photo was provided and would be useful for others as well

The cabin was super cozy and clean. It was a nice and warm stay.

The WiFi was a bit wobbly but it was fine. The road to get there was also super icy, almost didn't make it up the road. Was not the owner's fault though!

We loved the location, the silence, the garden with full of blueberries. We were also thrilled by the living room with large windows to the garden. Our kids had a lot of fun with the zipline. We were happy to be able to use the electric grill (fairly large and quality Weber), there is an outside plug. The lake Gjevilvatnet is beautiful, however the cabin is quite far so we better used the car since the weather in Norway is unstable in general.

The driveway fee was not stated in advance, nor were we advised of the amount in direct communication with the owner later. We paid 143,20 NOK for 1 entrance (8/2023) and there is some administration involved since the Autopass tag does not apply. We recommend that it is fairly stated in the description of the property as it is a mandatory part of the accommodation cost. As for the cabin itself, we have almost no comments: the mattresses were too soft, the toilet with shower is really small in size. And an axe would be handy for being able to chop the firewood into smaller pieces.
