Auckland Cornwall Park Home

Location was convenient for my family, host was quick to respond and came over quickly to fix the problem that needed to be fixed.

Uncleanliness of the property inside and outside, all bathroom drains were blocked, wash basins/showers would fill up quickly (hair clogging showers; I messaged the host and she came to clean the 2 showers with visible hair; pic provided below, but I should’ve got her to clean all 4 showers/bathrooms) spiders everywhere especially baby spiders in the lounge. Couch had stains and made our bodies itchy. Beds were average. House had a very strong odour lingering. Rubbish bin in kitchen had a very potent stench. The sink grinder was full of water and smelt horrific. Both garbage and recycle bins were full from previous occupants (host offered to take the bin on the road for us). I asked for an early check in but cleaners had to clean the house (house was not clean; stains in toilets, mould in showers, house was not vacuumed, most of the walls had a lot of black scuff marks, oven was not cleaned and the trays inside the oven were not clean too, frying pan was not cleaned properly). Price for 3 nights was not worth it because of the state of the house. 3 doors of the house was locked.

Central location for where we needed to be. Plenty of bathrooms for the guests. Rooms were clean and tidy. The code door was good as guests had easy access.

-We expected to house with single beds as pictured. -Parking was limited and the driveway was narrow. -We understand having outdoor cameras for security reasons but having them in every corner felt invasive and hard for our guests to relax as we felt we were being watched. -There was no basic cleaning supplies: tea towels, cloths to wipe down benches, a broom, mop etc. -The were no flannels - only a very tiny kitchen bin and no recycling bins. We ended up taking most of our rubbish with us which was not ideal.

Spacious with a bathroom for everyone! I especially enjoyed the multiple outdoor seating areas.

Only one three seater lounge. No dish soap, brush. Aircon wasn't working. Had to ask for a dryer. No enough cutlery, utensils and trays and plates for cooking.
