Spa and had everything you would have at home

Location very quiet and also close to town. Liked the space for all the family to relax in. Good powerful showers. Plenty of parking onsite for two cars.

Just attention to a few small details such as heated towel rail in one bathroom not working, end cap of the one in ensuite etc. saying that did not spoil our holiday.

The location was great and near the red wood forest. The street is a quiet no exit street and so very quiet. The house is large and spacious.

Photos shown must have been taken some time ago inside and out and not a true reflection of how the place looks today, which is misleading. It's Dirty, tired and unkempt. We were there for 4 days with a family of 6 of us for special family holiday. There was no oven mitt and the 2 tea towels were very thin. The oven was so filthy we did not want to cook in it. The oven top had not been cleaned properly. The windows in the kitchen were filthy & you could see food particles on the windows that had turned into mould. The towel rail in the main bathroom was loose & unsafe, so we didn't use it & the handle into the main bathroom was loose. There were hairs coming out of the drains in the showers! Blood & yellow staining on bed cover! Beds were very hard. Family member hurt his toe on the deck walking back from the spa pool during the day (we noticed while we were out a new spa pool cover had been put on the pool)! Wood on the deck is swollen and bowed creating an uneven deck. A set of spa pool instructions would be helpful. Temp was 41 degrees - way too hot - we did not know how to change the temp. Cobwebs & thick dust in parts of the house which had been there for ages. The boat in the lounge in photo has lost its stand (wheat bags supporting it!) is dangerous with glass and cannot be used as a coffee table. The tent is no longer in child's bedroom. Stickers coming off the walls. We sent an email after we returned home and owners asked why we hadn't contacted them while we were there. Guests should not have to be contacting owners on holiday to have major cleaning and maintenance done!!! The place needed a major overhaul, we wanted a nice quiet family holiday - not to have people coming in doing major cleaning and fixing. At premium prices it should be safe, clean and tidy before guests arrive. We feel we should have been offered some compensation, not cheaper rates on another holiday.

The house was beautiful big and clean. We loved everything about it

This is a lovely spacious comfortable family friendly home. We had plenty of space for our “three generations” group and we appreciated being in a quiet suburb close to all the attractions we planned to visit.

No coffee plunger!

As it was very hot, some more fans for the bedrooms would have been great
