Good comfortable place in excellent location. Great view over the lake and near beautiful Opunake beach. Bach attached to boxing gym which inspired my kids! James was a good host doing excellent work with local kids through his gym and boxing. Local asset!!

The place was very comfy for me and my family would definitely come back again, Great location, Affordable price .. Amazing all round

The place is just near the lake. It is an ideal stay for observing the lake's light changing in different daytime and at night. The kitchen equipment is suitable for cooking without problems. By the time we arrived, the host was not there. Thanks to the gym neighbors, they just helped us enter the house.

Though the house is old, the interior is cozy for staying. The gym is connected to the main house and is not noisy at night.

Great location right on the lake! Chess board was a hit and we liked the table location so all meals were in view of the lake.

Not many windows open (painted shut) so was a bit stuffy. Maybe a couple more fans would help? Ps- key didn’t lock front door

The use of the gym area was invaluable. The kids loved it!!
