Kendall Cottage - Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful four nights at Kendall Cottage. Linda, our host, was warm and kind. There was even a box of chocolates to welcome us. Everything was spotlessly clean and the whole house was bathed in natural light. Kerikeri was the perfect base for exploring Northland, and we drove all the way to Cape Reinga, though unfortunately it was rainy and foggy. So we’ll have to go back, and guess where we’ll be staying?

The bedroom with the queen bed felt a little tight for space, although beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, though we would have appreciated an oven.

Well equipped kitchen, fluffy towels, good quality bedding. Good size shower and good water pressure. Very central and easy to get to amenities.

Breakfast; N/A. The location was perfect as my son and I had traveled for a Squash tournament and Kendall Cottage was close to the venue.

10 out of 10 property. Close to town, but so quiet and peaceful. Very well set up with everything you need, and very neat clean and tidy. The owner popped in to welcome us which is a nice change, and we enjoyed all the facilities at the property.

Nil; very well set up, and very comfortable. Only addition I could think of would be a clothes dryer to add to the washing machine. No issue for us as the weather was good, but could see the need over winter.

Exceptionally equipped accommodation in a peaceful and perfect location for exploring the local area. The owners have thought of everything in terms of home comforts and ensured we had all we needed for a relaxing and memorable stay.

There was nothing at all to dislike about this property!

A lovely cosy place. Linda is a very experienced host. The cottage is very clean, tidy and all bits and pieces we needed were available. Best comfortable beds we ever had on our trips.
