"A nice cottage in a fairytale village."

Our cottage at De Sloothaak was placed at one of the canals. The cottage has every thing we could ask for. The toilet separated from the bathroom is perfect. The beds are really good. The private parking place is around 100 m from the cottage, it can not be in any other way because De Sloothaakis on a small island. The are some small trollys one can use to carry the luggage on. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful.

The holiday home at a great location and well equipped to host 5-6 people. Robb and his family are super friendly, provided a lot of information about places to visit around Giethoorn and it was also very easy to rent a boat and drive off directly from the home.

The stairs are a bit narrow to the rooms above. Need to be careful especially if travelling with small kids.

Almost everything. Nice modern pantry with good collection of cooking wear and cutlery, very clean, spacious , spacious bathroom as well, best location at the heart of Giethorn , and very friendly & helpful owner .
