Remarkable Escape Breathtaking Views with Hot Tub

Great views and very comfortable house.

We were 2 families of 4 and the house was large and comfortable. The interior design is modern and cosy and sitting at the fire and watching the beautiful views was magic. The fire is incredibly easy to light although doesn’t give off much heat. The heat pump from the kitchen worked well to keep the space comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub a couple of nights. We hired a chef for the nights we were there and the kitchen was well equipped and a great size for her to prepare our meals. To get to the centre of town, it’s about 8 minutes in an Uber. We also used Uber eats for grocery delivery since we were a bit further out. The owners were very friendly.

One of the adult bedrooms with en suite was downstairs and through the garage. The description doesn’t make it clear. This surprised us when we arrived as it didn’t have the same welcoming feeling as the rest of the house. The bedroom is lovely though. The access to it just makes it feel less luxurious which is a shame.

The view is spectacular. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Clean.

I'll start by saying i didn't expect that i booked a house like "Airbnb" type. The location is far from any restaurant or supermarket meaning you have to call uber everytime you need something and for every meal. It's around 8 -10 minutes ride. Too many stairs, at the entrance, then to go to mezzanine floor and again stairs to the bedrooms which might be very challenging for some people. The seating area and the kitchen were uncomfortably cold even with the fireplace on, we couldn't enjoy gathering in that living area when the outside temperature was zero. The curtains in the bedroom is not up to the ceiling so the sunlight will wake you up by 8 am. The door in one bedroom doesn't close properly unless use force that wakes everyone in the house and also some closet doors malfunction. The toilet in first floor (mezzanine) has no heating system so it is very uncomfortable to use. The lack of House keeping service, It's my "luxurious" vacation time and I don't want to collect the garbage and take it out.

it was winter and the heating had trouble heating the lower room. We struggled a little with the fireplace, so in total the lower room was somewhat cold.

We loved how cosy it was, everything we needed was in reach & was nice and close to town.The views were amazing & the hosts were very welcoming and friendly! We enjoyed watching the sunrise in the spa!
