Fiordland Eco-Retreat -- Panoramic Views -- Hot Tub

The most incredible views, the perfect location close to town. The property itself is modern and comfortable and the hot tub was such bliss on a still night watching the stars. Such generous hosts with a fridge full of local goodies and Copper the next door neighbours dog made it feel like home. My absolute favourite stay in all of NZ. Worth every penny!

Loved everything here. The guided stargazing and planting a baby silver beech with Glen, the views, and the relaxing hot tub.

This place is amazing! If we could give it more than a 10, we would. It was a little expensive, but the view was phenomenal, the rooms/beds were super comfy, and the hot tub was great! On top of that, there were so many little touches that showed how much the hosts cared, a guidebook for the property and how/why it is an eco-retreat, star charts for the month you are staying with binoculars and basic breakfast cereals/foodstuffs. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely stay there again if in Te Anau.

It is a little outside of town so once we were there we didn't always have the willpower to drive back in, but that's not the hosts fault, just something to keep in mind- the view in general more than made up for the distance though!

Spectacular views, well stocked kitchen, large modern bathroom, hot tub overlooking lake and nice outdoor deck with bbq a highlight. Comfortable bed and linens.

Would have liked 2 full baths vs 1.5 but it worked out fine.

We truly did not want to leave (even in the rain)! I cannot praise the hosts or this apartment enough! The decor and furnishings were absolutely wonderful and made such an inviting and enjoyable environment. And the outdoor space: SPECTACULAR VIEWS, great table as well as seating area - and a hot tub! We were just stunned when we arrived to the 270 degree view. The pantry was really well stocked: cereals, milk, wine, chocolate, etc. -- above and beyond any other place we stayed on the trip!! The 'chilly bin' and water bottles were quite handy to borrow for our day trip to Milford Sound. If you needed something, it was likely there. Plus Susanna was a lovely host - she met us when we arrived and provided a great overview.

That we had to leave after only two nights :-(

A beautiful Eco Lodge. Fantastic views. Brilliant accommodation. Very friendly owners. cannot find fault, we had a perfect stay.
