Tasman Village Cottage

We loved everything, from the cottage to the beautiful garden, this place is spectacular and we loved how peaceful our surroundings were and how private it was. We would also like to thank Cameron and Maria for going out of their way to help us with transport when we didn't have a car to get us around, they were kind enough to take us to Motueka to do some shopping so we could have something to eat on our first night and Cameron for taking us to Mapua the next day to do some sightseeing and to grab some lunch we are forever grateful for your help and awesome hospitality. You have got to be the most genuine people we have ever meet. We will no doubt be stay here whenever we are in Nelson, there won't be any other place we would rather stay...thank you!

Maria, our host was wonderful. Fresh flowers and tomatoes from her fabulous garden, chocolates every day. Loved sitting on the verandah having a wine and enjoying her garden and visits from Finn, the border collie every day.

When you look at the photos of this cottage and property, you wonder if they are truly representative. Believe me, it’s even better than the photos. The cottage is comfortable (bed, chairs, window seat, deck furniture), convenient (full kitchen, washer, drying racks), modern, clean and quiet. Maria and Cameron are lovely people, ready to help with anything we might need. The garden is beautiful and so relaxing - it is clear that they are attentive to every detail. There is a small town just to the south (Mapua) with several good restaurants and a small grocery store. An added bonus for us: Finn the Border Collie! We cannot say enough good things about our 3 night stay here.

Great place and really nice ambience. Maria was very welcoming. Garden is amazing and dog is super friendly and well behaved. Maria was also very gracious and did not charge us for the day that we lost from arriving a day late due to a cancelled flight.
