Ultimate beach location

Great location very close to beach and Tay St cafes - very warm and sunny home with all the home comforts and beautiful bed linen.

Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the garden and deck

Centrally located. Well equiped with an owner who was happy to assist us with any queries we had. Eli was also happy to be our Sherpa - lugging 4 older ladies luggage up the steps into the house. It was lovely to have a spa pool to use at our leisure. Eli was always happy to engage with us- and his sense of humour made for a very enjoyable stay.

Being the shortest in the group I had trouble reaching the power points to plug in the toaster and coffee maker. Luckily the rest of the group were taller than me.

The location was great and house had an awesome view

We travelled from Hawkes Bay, 4 adults 6 kids 1 being a newborn (5 weeks) house was initially supposed to be ready at 2.30pm 30 minutes before we arrived host messaged to say it wasn't ready but we had already turned up That's fine okay we understood found alternative means to bypass the time. Came to 5pm got a message its ready. We head back over house is nicely clean 👌 OUR BIGGEST ISSUES - 1 shower was out of use - Spa pool wasn't able to be used - No WIFI 😡 - It was cold considering having a big heatpump in the lounge full wooden floors throughout 1 tiny heater for the rest of the house just didn't work Called host to let em know about WIFI issue he came said it was fixed but no. At this point in time we just couldn't be bothered anymore! Stuff it! Tired after our travel and with children 🤦‍♀️😫 Honestly booking in advance having heaps of kids it's needed, 1 shower wasn't the best considering we all had come a long way and for nearly $700 a night it was definitely not worth it House was great lots of linen provided beautiful home with great location but damn if you advertise something and it is at that price please live upto expectations cause it was embarrassing for me arranging all this with my family to only get half of what was initially suppose to be. Thank you host for the chocolates to apologize but to avoid further issues and negative feedback and a big let down for future clients either do better or cancel their reservation I did love the fact of kind of feeling at home and that was the whole point of an air bnb and not hotels

Eli was an exceptional host who responded very quickly to messages and went above and beyond to compensate for the fact that the spa was not heated in time for us to use. We were very happy with his service and the facilities at the house were clean, making it a comfortable stay.
