Palm Views - Stay Waiheke

Length of walk up long path and lack of view plus both driveways inaccessible. Also no obvious maintenance since renovations in 2017 and floors were very rough ....suffering from lack of maintenance and too many short stays

We loved that it was very private with native bush and beautiful surrounding gardens. The house was clean and tidy and there were also some stunning views of Palm beach over the hedge. We had everything we needed during our stay.

The road is quite narrow & it states a ‘private entrance’ on the description but we didn’t expect a hike up (about a minute steep walk) to the house. We had to make about 5-6 trips to and from the ute to grab our belongings and then having to carry it up which was quite tiring. We came with our 4WD ute so it was a tight fit & had to reverse park into the driveway. The shower pole isn’t attached to the wall and it fell off a few times and a near miss on our child’s head.

Close to palm Beach, good Kitchen and entertaining area.

The walk up is unsuitable for older people meaning my Dad who has Parkinson’s could not come to the house. The access way should be better disclosed for people with mobility issues. We had to find another place for my parents.
