A Beauty on Bligh St Te Anau

Location Bright good decor excellent bathrooms. Good kitchen layout also.

The heater in the living room worked very well and the room soon got warm. (It was a cold day when we arrived at Te Anau.) The electric blankets on the beds were beautifully warm. We did some washing there. Although there was no dryer, the washings got dry with the heater on.

The wall heater in the 2nd bedroom was hopeless to keep the room warm, so my sister & her husband were cold on the first night (except in bed with an electric blanket on) but we found a portable heater in the kitchen pantry which they used in their bedroom on the 2nd night, so it was ok. The portable heater should be kept in the 2nd bedroom. We wanted to heat the soup in a pan. There was no wooden spoon to stir or ladle to serve soup. They are not expensive items, so they should be among the kitchen utensils in the kitchen drawer.

Would definitely recommend Bligh st to friends and family when travelling. The house was very comfortable and clean. Check in was easy and stress free with daph

We stayed 2 nights. Location perfect. Easy access. Well equipped. Great set up with 2 ensuite rooms and living inbetween.

Maybe bedside lights or even one on tbe wall above bed would be great.

Property was clean and well stocked. heating great and a good location to town. Plenty of room for two people.

Second couple had completely separate bedroom, which was very comfortable, with small ensuite and separate outside locking door. They could not access the kitchen or living area without going outside and coming in through our door which of course was locked at night. this was the only down to a great stay.
