Beautiful place, has everything you need and plus it has a spa 👌

The view was amazing! The studio had everything you could possibly need/ kitchen wise also! The host were more than accomodating.

The view

The house had an unpleasant smell, the kitchen was dirty, there was no soap in the bathroom, and the hot tub was less than half full and smelled like the water hadn’t been treated in some time.

The property was excellent - awesome views, comfortable and warm inside, fantastic spa pool and relaxation area outside. There was a little problem with the TV, but this was fixed quickly.

Bachcare New Zealand - in lead up to coming they never responded to any queries. Then they charged me twice (which was a shock), never responded to my messages about double charging. I had to make an international phone call (at my cost) to get them to refund the double charge and then it cost me an extra $80 because of the currency exchange on the refund - all because of Bachcare's sloppiness. I wouldn't trust their accounting again and therefore will not rent any of their properties again. Otherwise the actual property here was perfect, it was Bachcare's sloppiness which brought my rating down.

The wee house was cozy and perfect for the two of us. The view was awesome, we saw dolphins from the deck.

The location was amazing. Stunning outlook on Akaroa harbour and boy did the weather put on a show! Rain, hail, shine. The Spa was a highlight for sure and it was the first proper tiny home I've stayed in and can 100% say it was as comfy as a normal sized house, if not better!

Hard to find designated black rubbish bin (which had no lid). Couldn't find chlorine granules for spa which we were supposed to put in post hot tubbing. Some spider webs accumulating outdoors.

The hot tub was magical. It was a lovely quiet location with a gorgeous view out over the harbour.
