Your Happy place in Quiet area

Good central location

2 room air conditioners, the one in the dining area did not operate. TV did not work and we tried for 25 minutes No bath towels all hanging damp on a close line in the garage. No paper towels or napkins provided. Lump in the mattress from heating unit, 🤷‍♂️

Location is very good, on the outskirts of town but nothing is far away. Very peaceful neighbourhood. Is a large comfortable house, with nice spa pool. View of surrounding hillside (from outside). Got some beautiful plums from the tree, also a lemon, lime and apple tree on the property. Tea, coffee, sugar and cooking oil were provided. Decent washing machine and dryer and clothes line.

Cooking utensils and other cookware were a bit sparse considering the size of the house and number of people it can accomodate. Tried to contact the owner prior to arriving but got no reply to text or call. At least one bedroom door had loose hinges, causing the door to stick. Bin had no lid, inviting flies in the summer heat. Windows could do with a good clean - pretty filthy. Spa pool cover is very heavy and cumbersome to remove/replace. Overall minor gripes, but would have made the difference between an 8 and a 10.

Spacious, quiet, and we liked having the spa.

The single beds had plastic mattress protectors which were noisy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Not really any laundry facilities.

It was spacious, the location was nice.

The kitchen was not equipped very well, the frying pans were unusable due to being scratched and burnt. The drain in the kitchen sink has a terrible smell. The rubbish bin was broken with no lid. The outdoor area was not usable, had no table or chairs to sit outside and the windows throughout the dining/kitchen/living spaces were filthy. No salt in the kitchen. Most of all the thing that bothered us the most was the smell of the sheets and towels! They stunk like damp and I could not use the pillows in the bedrooms due to the smell. The sheets and towels from the previous people were all hanging in the garage when we arrived smelling damp. This is not good hygiene for an air b n b. Laundry should not be on display for the next people to see. A couple of the towels had brown marks on them! For the price we paid for 3 nights we were not satisfied with the place, more attention to detail throughout the house and a more efficient laundry system would have improved our stay. We would not recommend this place or stay again.

Toilets were not cleaned properly, showers were not cleaned and were not working properly, TV wi-fi was stopped working after some time and didn't able to reconnect after that.
