NZNZA Beautiful secret surprise with so many thoughtful personal touches, welcome chocolates, a little vase of flowers, and rustic/french country styled decor. Every need was carefully catered to, from the superbly equipped kitchen to the generous toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was beautifully dressed and so, so comfortable! All of this, set in the most fabulous lush garden, beautifully kept and with an open invitation to share it. Delightful balconies to catch the sun.Very generous and caring hosts, great restaurant recommendations.
As we learned quickly, Waiheke isn't so easy to navigate, and the perilous hidden driveway to enter the property and park our vehicle dropped down very steeply from the access road. It was very unexpected! Unfortunately the access rd was narrow and gravel only, and accessed several properties plus a winery, so it was surprisingly busy and noisy.
