"Location only."

This location is close to the ferry and 20 minutes from Cathedral Cove and hot water beach. 2 rooms with doors, one room without. Used the space heater, fridge, water and beds.

Spiders. Killed 44 the first night, 23 the second night. The place smells like mildew, rotting carpet pad and was very stuffy. The kitchens and bathroom need a SERIOUS upgrade. They haven't been updated since 1950?? It is also across the street from the grave-yard/ cemetery. No views to talk about. Garbages were full when we got there. Just reminded me to stay in motels or travel lodges when I travel. I won't stay in a home again.

"Alot better places around for the price."

Good location, close to Whitianga ferry, close enough to hot water beach and Hahei

House is built in 1950 and it shows, photos are old. All kitchen cupboards sticking or stuck. Only 2 cups, couldnt find any plates. Doors don't close etc. Lead paint chipping off, no good for kids. Guy in permanent caravan living in front yard not disclosed in booking. Driveway nearly impassable in a normal car.

"Great for a short stay over - easy access to local spots."

Lovely and private location - metres from the ferry to Whitianga. The kitchen is in an original state and needs updating along with all of the utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware…everything! Basic shower and water supply is via private tanks. The BBQ on the patio was a god send. The nearest supermarket is in Whitianga…by ferry or 40min car drive.
