Lovely chill place - warm and cozy

Perfect location with an easy walk into Wanaka town center. The property had everything you needed, kitchen, towels etc and the beds comfortable.

With no aircon in bedrooms it was hot or cold depending on room you stayed in. Maybe ceiling fans could be added to bedrooms if aircon is not an option. No window covering in bunkroom making it hard to sleep

Location is good.

No wardrobe shelving for storing clothes -

The accommodation was gorgeous and generous with space. Sitting by the fireplace in the evenings was just lovely.

Expensive for what you get. No starter supplies on arrival - a little milk and oil etc would have been nice.

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a large family, including small kids. Great location, easy walking distance to lake and town. There was a small garage which you couldn't really park in but was great for storing bikes etc.

The house was a fantastic property for our large family in Wanaka. It was walkable to downtown and the lake, a much larger in space than the photos led us to believe, and it was very clean. There is no view of the lake from the property, but the yard with table and BBQ were great, and we loved the gas fireplace to heat the living room. The decor was lovely, the furniture was cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was large with all the pots, pans, and basics to cook our meals. The eco products provided for use - toiletries, dish soap, and laundry soap - were awesome! We had a couple of issues and questions during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and communicated well.

The door to the yard was broken, so we couldn't open up the patio to the kitchen and living space, but the host immediately sent a handyman, was in the process of fixing it, and we simply used the large sliding doors off the master bedroom instead. The master bathroom lacked a toilet paper holder which was awkward and the shower had a weird, low "lid" on it which gave it a musty smell and made it claustrophobic and challenging for people over 6 feet tall. The other bathroom had a normal, open top shower, thankfully. Overall, nothing major to complain about and we'd absolutely recommend this house for your stay in Wanaka!
