Extremely clean, warm, private, quiet and tidy

Cutting knife a little blunt and couldn't find a knife sharpener

Comfortable and clean. Having a fully fenced yard for our dog was a huge bonus too.

Pillows

The cottage setup and atmosphere made you feel at home. All you needed were your clothes and some food.

Spacious and clean. Everything we needed plus some welcome extras in the fridge. Great location and very quiet. Beds are very comfortable.

Nothing we didn't like. Not sure how full or busy the property gets in summer? Our stay was in August

Cannot speak highly enough of the hosts they are exceptional. They are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. We are very fussy about where we stay and have chosen to only stay here when we visit friends and family in Nelson and always recommend this place to others without hesitation. In fact if it’s booked we wait till it’s available!! It’s close enough to everywhere but far enough away for a relaxing holiday. Even though we have stayed here over a number of years the place is always like brand new - it’s spotless. You won’t find a better home away from home……..
