Good house with all we needed for a comfortable weekend

This is the first time I have struck a house being let through a third party (Property Managers) so as well as filling in things for Booking.Com I then was surprided to get a request from a third party requesting my ID and Credit Card number (I had already paid for the house in full) which I don't like giving out online, then told this would be for a bond which was deducted out of my CC account. This was not mentioned on Booking.Com. It said full payment which I paid. Would avoid any other properties like this in future

The location was good not to close or to far away from the center off town

The bad smell when walking in to the house the oven mitt had food on it still and there was food and plastic underneath the couch seats sofas In the lounge. There was old food in the fridge very visible from outside and inside there was hair under the safety mat in the bath not to mention the personal belongings still in the wardrobes

Warm and comfortable

Great value for a family of five, and close to town. Also having the option of a heat pump or the fireplace was good on the chilly nights.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.

Some of the dishes weren’t properly clean but I give them the benefit of doubt that it may have been a previous guest’s doing.

Modern clean tidy warm .😍
