How quite it was. Real peaceful and relaxing .great place to be if you wonted to go on day trips.. You had everything you needed just like your own home.

Loved where the house was located. It was sunny, had outdoor area with good seating and table. I liked that there was a washing machine we could use, and clothes line to hang clothes. It was modern and clean home with good cooking & kitchen utensils. Great to have access to towels - more bath towels and beach towels.

We had booked this facility as a motel - and had expected things like coffee, tea etc would be available, but there was nothing. Travelling through from late flight, and arriving to find that there was no coffee or tea was a bit of a disappointment. There were only 2 toilet rolls for our time there for 4 females. I know this is the minimal requirement for book a back or airbnb but was not expecting this. They had sent some information about all this, but again, when you are expecting this place as a motel you expect motel services. We were only here for the weekend and wanted comforts as we were in a racing event - so time was of the essence.

The house was very quiet and nestled into the mountain which was lovely. We did a day walk in Abel Tasman park so it was very convenient having the ferry a 3 minute drive away at Kaiteriteri Beach with easy (free) parking. We also visited Split Apple Rock which was about a 10 minute drive from the house.
