"Venue fantastic, but customer service found wanting."

Everything about this house was amazing. The rooms were spacious, the beds and bedding fabulous and the extra facilities (spa and pool) exceeded expectations. To cater for a large group as I was, the kitchen utensils and provided cutlery, crockery and glassware also exceeded expectations. We were there as an extended family to share special time together after the recent death of a family member. It was just really disappointing that when I complained about the really, really dirty oven (took my brother an hour to clean before we were able to use it) that my response was met with "Thank you for letting us know. We will speak with the cleaners.". With high end accomodation the expectation would have been at least an offer for someone to come and clean the oven. To spend precious time scrubbing an oven is not OK.
