Mountain View Cottages are located within easy walking distance from cafe's, laundry, the beach, markets, and just across the street you can get a guest pass to the resort with a pool! It's a beautiful property and great care is taken to maintain cleanliness, a park-like setting and a comfortable room. The staff is friendly, professional, caring and sweet. It's a great value for the money, and we felt safe, cared for, and truly comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

Wifi could be spotty at times. You can hear quite a bit of karaoke (not all of it good) in the evenings but nothing that went on too long.

We booked this place about 3 months ahead for the Christmas days - to be sure to have a nice room and a good price. However, upon arrival, we were told that the place was overbooked and they cannot accommodate us for the first 2 nights of our booking. Why us when we were one of the first ones to book? Well no idea. Anyways, they picked some random place in town for us without asking or communicating with us to stay for those 2 nights. Unfortunately that place was very small, loud and did not have warm water. I asked Mountain View Cottages for a full refund for the 2 nights that we couldn't stay, but they did not agree and only wanted to refund a minor amount because they had paid a relatively high price to get us the other place. Well, not a surprise if you get a room last-minute over Christmas. That's not our fault and in my opinion they should have covered this expense and give us a full refund because after all this situation was 100% their fault. We also lost half a day of our time in Camiguin due to that mismanagement because we had to change accommodation after 2 nights. And we could only check in our room at 2 pm even though a check-in time of 1 pm is indicated on booking.com. Well, no effort from their side to arrange this for us and we also had to organise our own transport from the other accomodation. All this just to explain why we expected a full refund but ended up getting a minor refund and effectively paying another overpriced room that we didn't choose. Not to mention that this entire situation could have been communicated beforehand. They explained that this was because the old manager has sadly passed away. As according to the other reviews of this place he seemed to be a very good caretaker and manager of this place, I would be cautious with these old, good reviews. The place is also not as quiet as you may hope. We had the bungalow next to the street which was quite noisy at night.

Clean, good cottage, perfect for someone who likes cooking because there is a full equipped kitchen .good size of bedroom with good working airco. Shower and warm water worked perfect. Fantastic porch to eat your breakfast with an amazing view on the well maintained tropical garden. Sari sari shop at 50 meters. Very calm and quit at night. It was my second stay and i will certainly come. Perfect base to go explore the island with a motorbike. Thanks to Yasmine for her great hospitality and big smile. Dedicated to my friend Hank….😘

Nothing ! Stay was perfect again. I can t find any remarks. It s kust a perfect place for people who dont wanna stay on the loud busy city ( with Christmas)
